Erin Bruton, South Africa
Erin has been a crafty person since childhood. She believes that creating is a beautiful way of expressing oneself and that is exactly what she loves about scrapbooking. She feels privileged to be part of the Celebr8 team and has taught throughout South Africa and in Namibia. Teaching gives her the opportunity to bring to life Celebr8’s slogan: ‘Your Talent Awaits’ as she believes everyone has talents, we just need to release them.
Cathy Cafun, Qld
Cathy Cafun lives in Queensland and has been in the papercraft industry for 15 years. Her style is shabby chic/romantic, but she also loves the grungy distressed style. Recently she started working and teaching for The CraftyChain, a scrapbooking and papercraft store in Brisbane, which allows her to share her love and knowledge of paper crafting and meet lovely fellow paper crafters!
Michelle Grant, Qld
Michelle is an experienced creative and has been sharing her passion around the country for over 15 years. Her creative endeavours include mixed media, art, drawing, art journaling, scrapbooking and more. She inspires others through her passion and excitement for discovering new techniques and creating unique pieces from the heart. Michelle is currently a freelance tutor/artist/ designer who loves igniting the spark in others by providing opportunities for a creative flow.
Kerrie Gurney, Qld
Kerrie has been in the papercraft industry for over 20 years and she loves every minute of it. Over the years her projects have been published many times and she has taught at amazing events in Australia, NZ and South Africa. Kerrie loves to teach, her classes are always fun; come and share her passion for papercrafting and creating beautiful memories.
Amanda Hartmann, Qld
Amanda has been scrapbooking for many years, as evidenced by a well-organised stash and shelves full of albums! She has worked on a variety of design teams over the years and is an active contributor on social media. She has a flexible style and is equally happy playing with paper or paints. Embellishment clusters are part of her signature style!
Jenny Heaslip, Qld
Jenny has been a scrapbooker for about 15 years and currently teaches in Brisbane. She was also lucky enough recently to teach in South Africa. Jenny loves to create interactive double page scrapbook layouts that let you to get lots of photos on a page and also incorporate interesting interactive elements. She loves to include plenty of ‘openable’ areas in her pages, for maximum interest.
Lauren Hender, NSW
Lauren has been scrapbooking for over 20 years and has been involved in the industry in many ways. Lauren was awarded the title of Scrapbooking Memories Master in 2006, and since then has had the honour of designing and teaching for many scrapbooking stores, publications and brands, both at home and overseas.
Natalie May, SA
Natalie is a full time paper crafter and teaches in Australia & New Zealand. She is the Australian Ambassador for Lindy’s Stamp Gang, designer for Imaginarium Designs, an Intermediate Certified Copic Designer and loves everything inky & colour based. Nat regularly teaches and creates not only scrapbooking layouts but also cards, mixed media and paper based layouts, art journaling, abstract canvas art, plus kids classes.
Alicia McNamara, Qld
Alicia is a Kaisercraft design team member and has been designing for them for three years. She is also a primary school teacher, private tutor and mum to two young boys. Alicia has been papercrafting for 12 years and teaches scrapbooking and card making classes in her local Gold Coast and Brisbane areas. She is also teaching on a scrapbooking cruise in February 2019.
Tina Ollett, Qld
Tina Ollett is a passionate scrapbooker and takes inspiration from her family. She loves patterned papers, layers, dimension, chipboards, details and flowers…with small amounts in a vintage and shabby chic style. Tina’s aim is to keep the focus on the photo and to celebrate the memories that they represent. Over time she has had work published nationally and overseas and is currently designing for 49 and Market, The Dusty Attic and Maja Designs.
Sue Plumb, Qld
Sue Plumb is a mixed media scrapbooking artist from the Glasshouse Mountains in Queensland. Sue has been scrapbooking for over 10 years, and creates for a number of design teams, both here in Australia and internationally. Her colourful, unique style and fun personality is loved by many in the crafting community.
Sue Smyth, Qld
Sue is a formally trained artist, who has been teaching, creating and crafting for over 20 years. She was the Editor of Australian Scrapbook Ideas, has been published many times and is the author of 3 D papercraft projects. Sue designed Magnolia Lane, and Rambling Rose for Ultimate Crafts, and specialised in mixed media and shabby chic style. Currently she is on the Imaginarium Designs team.
Melissa Struhs, Qld
Melissa began scrapbooking 17 years ago, and has taught others useful techniques for the last 16 years. She has worked on design teams for Funky Flairs Studio, Couture Creations UK Magazine Team and Scrap the Boys. She is currently the DT Co-ordinator and has been on the Colour Blast design team for almost three years. Melissa loves to bring mixed media techniques into traditional double page layouts and to combine gorgeous patterned papers, laser cut chipboard and hand stitching.
Katrina Thompson, Qld
Katrina is a local Brisbane teacher of more than 15 years. She loves to work with paper-based projects, combining inks, fabric, pretty laces, metals, hand paper making and recycling. Published in various magazines and a previous Scrapbook & Papercraft Expo Cardmaker of the Year finalist, Katrina’s gorgeous intricate work won her best display at the show last year. She is keen to share her special skills and knowledge to create beautiful cards and tags with students again in June this year!
Adele Toomey, NSW
Adele Toomey, aka ‘Inkie Quill’ has been sharing crafty projects online for several years. She posts a variety of videos to her YouTube channels including scrapbooking, Project Life, art journaling, traveler’s notebooks and craft organisation. Adele is a full-time creator whose designs are also available on Patreon and online classes. She also has a fun blog!
Gerry van Gent, the Netherlands
Gerry van Gent is Bulgarian born, living in The Netherlands. She is married and a mother of two. From 2009 Gerry designed for many leading companies like Prima Marketing, Webster’s Pages, Glitz Design, Sizzix, and her designs have been published in Dutch and international magazines. Gerry currently designs for ‘49 and Market’ and ‘The Dusty Attic’. Gerry’s work is romantic, shabby chic with occasional touches of vintage. Her wonderful projects are detailed and dimensional.
