Steampunk Spectacle with Sue Smyth

Skill Level: All levels welcome

Celebrate steampunk and make a practical project too, you will convert a spectacle case into a work of art or beautiful trinket box. You will work with rust paste, alcohol inks, Inka Gold and lots of bling to alter chipboard, trinkets and resin elements.

Kit includes: All material needed to create a steampunk spectacle case, spectacle case, mediums, chipboard and step by step instructions.

What to bring: Basic tool kit, paint brushes, wipes, water jar, messy matt and extra rhinestones or trinkets if you want to personalise, heat gun if possible.

Butterfly Effect with Michelle Grant — CLASS SOLD OUT —

Skill Level: All levels welcome

Learn different watercolour techniques and how to paint seamless watercolour faces. You will learn how to shade faces to create depth and how to create unique abstract effects, how to let go and more. Michelle has designed stamps and stencils for this class to make it easy even for beginners, no drawing required.

Love This Memory with Tina Ollett

Skill Level: Intermediate to advanced. You will need to know basics of mixed media, for example application of texture paste, gesso etc.

You will make a 12 x 12 masculine grunge scrapbooking layout focusing on two portrait photos. Techniques include layering of media from texture pastes through to stamping, colouring with inks and dressing of archival boards.

Kit includes: Paper collection ‘Captured Adventures’ and archival boards with a selection of some medias. Products sponsored by 49 and Market.

What to bring: Basic tool kit, clear drying glue, Splat Mat, paint brushes: three medium sized, sponge brush, palette knife, inking dauber or tool with sponge, Distress Ink: Black Soot and Iced Spruce, Archival Ink or Staz On black. My Favourite Photos with Jane Tregenza

Skill Level: All levels

Using a special chipboard frame from Imaginarium Designs, you will learn how to add a rustic finish using embossing powders. This frame is a great way to add multiple photos to your layouts. Jane will guide you through the layout step by step and share with you how she designs and creates her layouts.

So Happy with Karola Witczak

Skill Level: All levels. You will need to know how to fussy cut, to use glues and trimmer.

You will create a 12 x 12 layout in a marine theme with a feminine feel. Karola will show you how easy it is to work and how much you can create using Mintay Papers. You will learn fast and effective fussy cutting and make beautiful, rich layers. You will make a washed look using white mediums and soft mixed media techniques (great for beginners).

Kit includes: 12 x 12 Mintay Paper Set, paper flowers, Element Sheets with collage to fussy cut, chipboard elements.  Mediums will be provided for sharing: gesso, paste, inks.

What to bring: Basic tool kit, medium brush, small sponge (kitchen sponge is fine). Photos required: one 4 x 6 or one 5 x 5 or two smaller 3 x 4 photos.
